Dinner idea.
Loaded up and ready for my freezer.
This recipe is slightly adapted from my favorite cookbook, Fix Freeze Feast.
Buy fresh chicken tenders on sale (1.98 lb)
Roll chicken tenders in flour
Roll chicken tenders in beaten egg
Roll chicken tenders in seasoned bread crumbs
Freeze on cookie sheets
Once frozen, remove from cookie sheets and place in Ziplock bags
Return to freezer.
To cook, thaw chicken
Cook at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
You children will love these, I promise. These are better than anything you can buy at the store, they are made from fresh chicken breast (not who knows what garbage, pressed together and "chicken flavored") so you know exactly what you are feeding your children and yourself).
The best part? After some strenuous math exercises, I calculated that each chicken finger, cost 40 cents. How's that for a bargain?
