Can I just say that I love your blog. I just discovered you a couple of days ago and have been absolutely enthralled with you and your family- a side note, we also live in Washington(Sequim). I have four children and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to do it - I came to you looking for ideas and advice and you have inspired me. Thank you!

The caramel looks SOFT. I like soft caramel. The one time we tried to do dipped caramel apples, they came out HARD! We switched to the caramel apple wraps (which are still yummy, but not so authentic) and have't gone back. But if you've got a nice soft recipe, I need it. :)

I sure would like that caramel recipe. Hard to believe people are already sippin hot cider. It was 88 degress here today and we wanted to play in the sprinkler.
