Tucker, almost 3
So there we were, driving along yesterday, headed for the library. Out of the blue I hear Tucker (who sits right behind me) say:
"Mom, that man is transparent."
I glance over to where he is pointing (we are now stopped at a stoplight) and we are surrounded by cars and trucks with tinted windows. Tucker is pointing to the once vehicle with un-tinted windows. And a man is driving it.
"Thats right Tucker, those windows are transparent, we can see the man in the car".
And lest you think I am imagining this, we have a library book in the house called, The Fish from Japan (remember, we're reading about Japan?). And in the story t he word transparent comes up four or five times. The jar is transparent, the fish is transparent, etc.
And we only had the book in the house because we were reading about Japan.
The power of homeschooling.
